What it means
Reinforcement Learning is a training method where an AI learns by playing a game or performing a task repeatedly. It gets a digital 'reward' for success and a 'penalty' for failure, eventually figuring out the best strategy on its own.
Why it matters
It's how we teach AI to do physical things like walk in a robot body, or master complex games like Go and Chess without being explicitly programmed with the rules.
